Events

For any kind of event, such as shooting or a social event, an official authorisation must be obtained.

Only the Arcachon sub-prefecture can issue such an authorisation after receipt of a completed form.

This must be delivered to the sub-prefecture one month prior to the event.

The government offices concerned, including the DREAL and the buildings of France Architect, as well as the Coastline Conservation Authority and the Syndicat Mixte de la Grande Dune du Pilat site, should all get a copy of the form, and will be consulted by the sub-prefecture for technical advice.

The forest is even more sensitive to trampling, fires and all kinds of waste. Be vigilant.
